10t Fixed Single Girder Bridge Crane for Limited Space in Oman

Project Introduction

During the expansion of an existing factory in Oman, the client required a 10-ton bridge crane to be installed within a highly constrained structure. The building offered a clear height of just 5 meters under the beam and a 20-meter span, while the original columns could not be relocated.

Key Challenges

• Insufficient space for conventional end trucks

• Fixed building columns with no room for structural modification

• Requirement to maintain uninterrupted production during installation

Our Solution

• Customized sunken end truck combined with an upturned main girder, achieving a hoist hook extreme height of +0.7 m

• Crane runway directly welded to the roof steel beams, saving 40 cm of vertical space
