I. Project Overview
Liaoning Huayuan Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. exported 3 units of 200t overhead cranes to Malaysia for hoisting mining equipment and mineral raw materials in a local open-pit coal mine. As a benchmark overseas project, it lasted 15 months, achieving on-time delivery and one-time acceptance, and successfully entering the Malaysian mining equipment market. The customer, a local well-known mining enterprise, required the cranes to adapt to Malaysia’s high-temperature, high-humidity and dusty tropical climate, meet 24-hour continuous operation, comply with ISO standards and local safety certifications, and have dustproof, corrosion-resistant and easy-maintenance features.

II. Core Difficulties and Solutions
The main challenges included adapting to harsh mining conditions, strict standard compliance, difficult logistics and installation, and insufficient localized services. Liaoning Huayuan set up a special team to conduct on-site research, optimized dustproof and anti-corrosion processes, and customized adaptive schemes. It established a full-process quality control system, invited third-party supervision, and passed local safety certification. For logistics, it formulated a three-stage plan to cope with remote mining areas and oversized components. A temporary on-site maintenance point was built, with 24/7 remote support and staff training provided.

III. Achievements and Outlook
The cranes operated stably, improving hoisting efficiency by 25%, and won customer recognition, bringing good economic benefits. The project opened the Malaysian market, promoted product technical upgrading, and improved the “equipment + technology + service” overseas model. In the future, Liaoning Huayuan will take this project as a benchmark, deepen the Southeast Asian market layout, and launch more high-quality mining cranes to expand its global influence.
