Project Overview

This is a formal and successfully delivered overhead crane export project completed in mid-2026, customized and supplied by a leading Chinese crane manufacturer in Liaoning Province. The client is a professional heavy machinery parts processing factory located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project aims to equip the client’s new industrial workshop with high-efficiency, high-temperature and dust-proof overhead handling equipment for daily loading, unloading, transferring and hoisting of steel plates, castings and mold workpieces.

All equipment was fully produced, tested and delivered in strict accordance with Saudi local industrial standards and international IEC and CE specifications, adapting to the extreme desert climate and local power grid conditions of Saudi Arabia.

A total of 7 sets of European standard double-girder overhead bridge cranes were customized for the project, with stable structure, low noise and high working efficiency, fully matching the client’s frequent workshop handling operations:

Saudi Arabia Localized Customization & Optimization

In view of Saudi Arabia’s typical desert climate characteristics of high temperature, strong ultraviolet radiation and heavy sand dust, as well as local industrial safety specifications, we have carried out targeted customized upgrades different from standard domestic models:

1. Extreme High Temperature Resistance Design

All motors and electrical control systems adopt IP55 high-level protection grade. The electric control cabinet is equipped with forced heat dissipation fans and external sunshade and heat insulation covers, which can operate stably for a long time under the extreme high temperature of 55°C in Saudi summer, avoiding equipment shutdown and failure caused by overheating.

2. Professional Sand and Dust Prevention Structure

Key moving parts such as walking wheels, couplings and brakes adopt labyrinth dust-proof sealing structure. The whole machine is equipped with anti-aging and sand-resistant special weather-proof cables, which effectively prevents desert sand dust from invading the equipment interior, reduces wear and failure rate, and extends the service life of the crane.

3. International Standard Compliance Configuration

Equipped with German SEW brand lifting and operating motors, fully complying with EU CE certification and international IEC electrical standards. The whole machine meets the Saudi SABER customs clearance certification requirements and local industrial safety supervision standards, realizing barrier-free market access in Saudi Arabia.

4. Intelligent Variable Frequency Control System

Full variable frequency speed regulation is adopted to realize stable start and stop, no impact on workshop buildings and goods. Equipped with overload protection, travel limit protection, emergency stop device and anti-collision early warning system, which effectively ensures the safety of workshop operation and meets the high-standard safety management specifications of Saudi industrial enterprises.

Project Delivery & Service Process

1. Business Confirmation Stage: The client visited our factory for on-site factory inspection and prototype test run. We confirmed construction drawings, load-bearing schemes and customized configurations through multiple video conferences to ensure full compliance with client’s on-site working conditions.

2. Production & Testing Stage: All main beams passed flaw detection and non-destructive testing. The whole machine was pre-installed and debugged in the factory, and 1.25 times rated load overload test was completed before delivery to ensure equipment safety and stability.

3. Packaging & Shipping Stage: Main beams are wrapped with rainproof and sunscreen tarpaulins. Motors, electrical cabinets and precision parts are packed in vacuum moisture-proof wooden boxes. The whole batch of equipment is shipped in full containers to Jeddah Islamic Port, with complete CO certificate, origin certificate and SABER certification documents for smooth customs clearance.

4. After-sales Commissioning & Acceptance: Professional technical engineers were sent to Saudi Arabia for on-site installation, commissioning and equipment debugging. We provided professional operation and maintenance training for local workers, and completed official project acceptance.
