A major Brazilian automotive parts manufacturer has purchased an overhead crane from Huayuan to support operations at its newly constructed facility in Rio de Janeiro. This investment is part of the company's ongoing efforts to expand its global footprint and enhance manufacturing efficiency.

The newly acquired crane is a Model NLHE30 (30+15)t-19m, H=9m double girder overhead crane, specifically designed to assist in the handling and flipping of aluminum castings. Built to an A5 work grade standard, the crane is engineered for high-intensity use and extended service life.

Founded in 1919, the client company originally specialized in marble processing machinery. Over the past century, it has continuously invested in technological innovation and growth. Today, the company employs over 3,200 staff across 15 factories on four continents, with a primary focus on automotive component production.

Key technical advantages of the crane include:

  • High lifting and trolley travel speeds, ensuring efficient and reliable material handling.

  • Compact design European style electric hoist, optimizing the hook’s reach and allowing better utilization of factory space, thereby reducing building costs.

  • Stepless speed regulation for smooth, low-sway lifting operations and precise positioning.

  • Advanced fieldbus communication technology, enabling efficient and secure signal transmission, process monitoring, and workflow maintenance in compliance with international safety standards.

This crane has finished the load test on a 800t testing stand in the factory of Huayuan Crane. And the load test included:

  • No-load functional testing;

  • 125% static and dynamic overload testing for structural integrity;

  • Rated load testing to verify mechanical performance and load limiter accuracy;

  • 110% dynamic overload testing to confirm operational and braking systems.

All test results confirmed that the crane meets both the Chinese national standard GB/T5905-2011 for crane testing and the specific technical requirements of the Brazilian client.

This collaboration reflects a growing trend in global industrial partnerships, blending cutting-edge Chinese manufacturing with South America's expanding automotive sector.
